Clean Technology

Our coffee processing wastewater treatment plant is compact, efficient, and designed with the latest in environmental engineering. It begins with a static screening system, ideal for removing large solids from the wastewater. An equalization tank then stabilizes the flow and organic load, creating perfect conditions for the entire process to run like clockwork. Yes, even the water follows a quality routine at Finca El Paraíso.

Conscious Coffee

At the heart of the system are the acidogenesis and methanogenesis reactors, where the (biological, of course) magic happens. There, specialized microorganisms degrade organic matter, leaving the water ready for its final step. And how does this process end? With advanced filtration through sand and gravel beds, ensuring the water comes out clean, clear, and with zero environmental impact.
